I have three blogs right now: this xanga, a fangirl livejournal, and a personal livejournal. I'm finding that I can't really juggle all three, so I've decided that since I have a fangirl livejournal already, I'm going to stop updating this account and use only that livejournal for fangirling ^^ I won't delete this account, though, since it has a lot of pictures uploaded to it that get quite a few hits.

That Uchi Hiroki has appeared at a Kanjani 8 concert has been confirmed
by several people at news_jpop
who were present at the concert, but it's definitely not official if he
will be back with the group. I think there would be a press conference,
similar to the one that was given for Akanishi Jin when he returned
from UCLA, if Uchi was going to return to K8 or NewS.
I was really happy to hear this news! Unbelievably! Even though I have never really liked Uchi much, that he's been allowed to appear with his group on stage is pretty big news, considering it's been almost 2 years since his suspension. Also, after that crap news that JE released about Uchi and Kusano not returning to their former groups this makes me very happy.
It would make sense to me if Uchi returned to K8 first, since that was the group he was a part of before NewS was formed. I just hope that if JE does decide to let Uchi go back to K8, they will also let Kusano go back to NewS at the same time as Uchi. Some people have speculated that Uchi would come back first, then Kusano in order to spread out the publicity instead of dumping all the goods out at once. This makes sense, business-wise, but hey, a fangirl can wish, right?
Since Kusano has been active again only in Playzone (although I shouldn't say "only", considering) pretty much all of my updates have been centered on Playzone. This time, I bring pictures from the September Duet issue, thanks once again to Vendy's Blog, where any self-respecting NewS fan can find the latest (and I mean, latest---September issue release in the beginning of August?!?! come on, now) magazine scans of NewS and Kanjani8.
Anyway, I made a little graphic of the pictures Kusano was in. It was only one page, but again, I shouldn't say "only" because until recently, Kusano hasn't graced the pages of any JE magazines since March 2006. Two out of the three have already been in newspapers, but this is the first magazine print of them so they're better quality.

It's so nice to see pictures of him again!!!!!!!!!!! My only wish is that he would smile in these pictures. I miss his smile. He's so serious in the pictures we've seen of him recently, and I kind of miss the mischievous Kusano, although I'm certain it's lurking under the maturity somewhere. That's why I can't wait to see him get back with NewS, where he's bound to show some of his old self.
Come on, Johnny-san! Bring Kusano back to NewS, you know you want to!!!

I was reading up on my friends page at my livejournal today and one of the posts included some pictures from playzone that I've never seen before.

In these pictures, I noticed that Kusano's poses are much more low-key and mature. No more of this:
I wonder if this means he's matured quite a bit after he got suspended. Well, he's been well out of public eye for over a year, which is plenty of time for a boy to grow up a little bit. He's also going to college, right? It's kind of bittersweet, to see how much he may have changed. To think it happened all while no fans could watch....*sighs* I hope he comes back to NewS, so everyone will be able to see how they are together again. It seems from the time that the suspension occurred until now, NewS has gone from being a loosely held together group with a mixture of men (ryo, yamashita, koyama) and boys (kusano, tegoshi) into a group of young men who have gone through a lot.
I felt like just posting today. I haven't updated in a while, and to be honest I really prefer fangirling in this blog as compared to my livejournal. Although I like the communities and layouts of livejournal better when it comes to being a NewS and Arashi fangirl, I like this blog because it's much more low-key so I feel like I can write more openly here. Actually, I have five blogs, including two livejournals and this xanga, and I'm starting to think that I really dislike having so many. I don't even want to update them. However, I'm definitely keeping one of my livejournals and this xanga. This blog has been purely fangirlism (except this part ^^) and I'd like to maintain it for that reason. As for my livejournals, I'm considering disabling comments permanently, unless of course I want feedback.
Anyway, I'm getting off track. What inspired me to write this entry was the video of NewS performing Fiesta on Shounen Club when Kusano was still around. Kusano ♥ has a solo here and also does some of his trademark dancing. I noticed in his solo that he's singing differently from how he normally does. In the Touch recording of the song, he's using his normal style. In this clip, however, he almost sounds like Tegoshi. I remember reading somewhere that one of his goals is to be a better singer than Tegoshi.
Kusano, you should sing in your own style! Although Tegoshi has a nice, smooth voice, I like the quality that Kusano has better than Tegoshi's ballad voice. Also, Kusano has a flexible voice---he can rap, sing straight-up, or do that up-down thing with the vocal chords that he does in Arigatou no Uta. Plus, he has serious skill with dancing and can completely pwn Tego with that.
